Fall Family Portrait Session in Scarsdale, NY
Today, the trees are almost bare and the leaves are all brown. It's bitter cold out which means you need to be extra careful with your equipment and watch out for condensation when bringing equipment inside a warm home after shooting outdoors. Last week we were lucky enough to capture some of the last gorgeous fall foliage in Scarsdale, NY. We started this family session at my client's home and then discovered brilliant foliage across the street at Saxon Woods Golf Course, so we walked over to end our shoot with their family portrait for this year's holiday card.
Here are some of my favorite shots from the family portrait session in Scarsdale:
Family portraits at Saxon Woods Golf Course
This little guy loves soccer and his beanie hat!
The yellow-green foliage is my favorite - I just love the bit of out of focus leaves that frame these portraits of their daughter.
We started the session at their home where the kids felt most comfortable - playing in their backyard!
This little guy really knows how to rock a beanie! The orange hat was passed down from his older brother who looked very similar at this age. His mom wanted to get a few shots of their youngest wearing the same orange hat so we can create a framed collage.
Hope you enjoyed previewing this session because I had lots of fun capturing this family's fall portraits! If you're interested in a holiday card mini session around Westchester or Fairfield County, it's not too late. Contact me anytime. Thanks! -Natasha
