Fall Family Portrait Session in Darien, CT

We had our first snowfall today in Fairfield County making travel very difficult, especially since it's one of the busiest travel times of the year, Thanksgiving! Tonight, I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from my last fall session of the season. I was surprised that the foliage lasted so long this season. We even hit close to 70 degrees on Monday! Now all the leaves have fallen and wet snow has covered the streets. I appreciate the colors of the foliage and greenery from this shoot even more now after this bleak, wintry day. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels! Enjoy your time spent with friends and family.

Below are select photos from the shoot. These two children were so precious. How perfectly adorable are these pigtails on their little girl? I love photographing children where they feel most comfortable so I can see their true personalities captured by my lens. These were taken in their backyard and on their playground. Their home had some beautiful areas with red, orange and green foliage that we won't see again until next year. I selected a few of my favorite shots and made these collages for easy viewing. Enjoy :)
