The Juicy Grapes Live at The Fez

Last night I photographed The Juicy Grapes playing at The Fez in the heart of downtown Stamford. I loved the atmosphere and all the colors from the lighting. The band was incredible! I only took my Nikon D800e and the ever-so-handy Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8 with me and that's it. The range on this lens is something else - I captured all the wide angles I needed and got in for the close-ups. This combo performed so well in the low-light setting and a high ISO of 6400.

Check out my favorite shots from the night and let me know what you think. I hope to get more opportunities to shoot live music - it's a ton of fun and time really flies since you're enjoying the music while you shoot.
