Surprise proposals are so much fun to photograph! This time, the soon-to-be bride, reached out for family portraits, not knowing that her boyfriend will be proposing at the end of the shoot. I love capturing the reactions, including their daughter who somehow had a feeling that her dad was hiding something all along!

This shoot took place at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, NY on a windy, chilly day, but that didn’t stop us from capturing beautiful memories this family will cherish forever. Being there for my clients during moments like these makes my job very rewarding - it’s why I do what I do!
