Summertime Maternity Session at Waveny Park

It was such a gorgeous evening to photograph this recent Maternity Session at Waveny Park in New Canaan, CT. We planned to meet at 7:30pm to shoot into the sunset and it worked out perfectly. We captured beautiful portraits in the floral gardens and lush, green fields at Waveny and then some backlit shots towards the end, which turned out to be some of my favorite ones from this session! 

I could not be happier for this family and am so grateful to be able to capture such an important time in their lives together. Waveny Park is my favorite place to shoot because of the beautiful, natural scenery and lighting, plus it's huge and allows for lots of privacy. We were lucky enough to enjoy the full blooms in the garden and loved that their four-legged family member was also able to join in!
