Sneak Peak! Sita & Justin’s Summer Wedding in Branford, CT
Congratulations to Sita & Justin- the new Mr. & Mrs.! I’ve had the joy of capturing many special moments for Sita in the recent months. We first met Sita & Justin on a Zoom call, introduced by their amazing wedding planner Lisa, owner of Creative Concepts by Lisa. I photographed their stunning engagement session at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens & then Sita’s grad photos at NYU, where she recently graduated with her Masters in Public Policy.

Taking place at Johnson's Point in Branford, CT, their wedding weekend began with Sita & Justin’s Sangeet Friday night. This is a traditional Indian ceremony filled with dance, music, and joy to celebrate the union of both families. The festivities continued onto Saturday with a Hindu ceremony including ancient traditions, and a meaningful Christian ceremony. Together, each of their ceremonies were a beautiful mix of different traditions and cultures, showing how love unites us all together. Sita was a vision in her gold saree and beautiful jewelry, just glistening with each turn. The love between them and pouring out from all their loved ones gathered to celebrate them was truly special to be a part of.
Their wedding weekend was perfection by Lisa and her team. Witnessing them flawlessly execute six events in just three short days was inspiring. It was such a joy working with the couple, their families, and a truly fantastic group of vendors.
