A New Year’s Day Proposal at Kensico Dam
Congratulations to Wale & Kori on their recent engagement!
Wale contacted us with plans to propose to his sweetheart on New Year’s Day. After we had our initial call, we suggested locations since they currently live in Maryland. Kori’s best friend helped with all the little details along the way since she is local here in CT.
He chose the beautiful Kensico Dam plaza in Valhalla, NY. I arrived early to meet him at the proposal location and to find a good hiding spot. The plan was set in place and Kori arrived with her parents and bestie who she was visiting with in Stamford for an afternoon stroll around Kensico.

She had no idea that Wale was waiting there to ask the big question. Kori was shocked to see her boyfriend there, whom drove all the way from Maryland to surprise her on New Year’s Day!
