Jessica + Ted’s Engagement Session in Shippan
I had a wonderful time photographing this newly engaged couple, Jessica + Ted outside their home in Shippan. They have access to a dock and we had some gorgeous golden light that peaked through that made for beautiful portraits! I wear a mask for all of my sessions since the pandemic hit when I started shooting again in late June. I also keep a 6ft+ distance when helping to pose my subjects, which is hard for me as I’m usually much more hands-on. What has helped me during this pandemic is using the app, Unscripted, to show my couples photos of the poses before we start shooting and I read off the prompts to get them into position. I create a shot list of poses inside the app and I also capture the natural laughs and candids in between poses which tend to be the best shots of the day.
