Last weekend was Aarohi's First Birthday Party at Dolce Norwalk in Norwalk, Connecticut. I was hired to photograph the event and capture portraits of the adorable Aarohi. In case you were wondering, her name means growth and ascendence in Hindi. She will grow up to become a beautiful young woman and as their family photographer, I feel so lucky that one day she will look back at these photos and that her family will cherish them! The entire family and group of friends were very welcoming and they couldn't have asked for better weather that day. The party started at 2pm so I had to battle the harsh sunlight, but the location was perfect due to beautiful trees and greenery that provided many shady areas for portraits. I also photographed Aarohi's friend, Tanya's First Birthday there the week before which helped with scouting locations.
