David & Arielle’s Summer Wedding in Brooklyn, NY
Congratulations to David & Arielle! This sweet couple wed in Brooklyn over the weekend, intimately surrounded by friends and family. Their Jewish ceremony was held at a local park, and David crafted a circuit of a heart image, that they switched on together with their feet during the ceremony in place of the traditional breaking of the glass. David & Arielle met on a dating app in the midst of the pandemic, and fell in love. In both of their written vows to one another, they both mentioned that meeting each other was the best highlight during that time.
I am editing away, but in the meantime sharing some of our favorite sneak peeks!
Their reception took place across the street at Poppy’s HQ, where a beautiful lunch spread was awaiting the newlyweds and their guests. Arielle handmade the wedding favors, which were stunning pottery cups each personalized with each guest’s name. They were so beautiful, and you could see how much thought, time and love was put into each one!
The couple prepared fun and unique ice breakers and games for everyone to enjoy, including speed dating, a Tetris tournament, Boggle and origami crafts. They also had set up an area for recording messages on an old-school recorder and Polaroid messages on a vintage instant camera. David then surprised everyone by pulling out a video recorder for guests to record video messages dedicated to the new Mr. & Mrs.! Everyone had such a wonderful time, and you could feel the couple’s joy and happiness.
Thank you to David & Arielle for including me to be there and capture your special day for you!
