Couples Portrait Session: Anna + Andres at Waveny Park in New Canaan, CT

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is all about LOVE, so I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from a lovely couple session last September starring our good friends Anna and Andres.

We met this gorgeous couple over 5 years ago at the University at Buffalo when joining the oldest & largest professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. Our friendship grew as Anna was my pledge master during my sophomore year. She is the kindest, most genuine person I've ever met and I was so happy to be able to capture the love that Anna and Andres have for each other.

These photos were taken after a nice, late summer BBQ at the house when we ventured off to one of our favorite places to shoot, Waveny Park in New Canaan, CT. The setting at Waveny is beautiful. The centerpiece is an old stone mansion built in 1912 surrounded by 300 acres of fields, ponds and nature trails. I meet a lot of clients here to take their portraits because I love the variety of scenery, natural props, and the stunning architecture. Anna and Andres were so much fun to photograph and provided me with great poses & ideas for interesting shots. Now's a perfect time to look back at these warm, summer shots while we're experiencing single digits here in CT!

Well, I hope everyone enjoys their Valentine's Day today. We're planning on staying in to enjoy a nice romantic dinner, especially due to the weather. Stay warm folks and hold your loved ones tight!
