Congrats, Maura + Charlie! Enjoy these sneak peeks from their beautiful wedding in Deep River, CT.

We started the day early with their getting ready photos at Water’s Edge in Westbrook, CT then headed to the historic Essex Steam Train for a ride to the ceremony and reception at The Lace Factory in Deep River, CT.

The wedding suite at Water’s Edge was just steps away from the ocean and we captured some beautiful formal portraits before heading to the steam train. It was a foggy morning, but as soon as the sun came out, the fog dissipated and we had a beautiful afternoon for photos.

At the Essex Train Station, the couple enjoyed a 1/2 cocktail hour under a tent and boarded the Essex Steam Train for their unique ride to the Lace Factory where the ceremony and reception were to take place.

As we were about to arrive, the rain started and the wonderful team at the Factory moved the ceremony inside which was equally as beautiful. The wedding ceremony was so special as the bride’s mother was the officiant — she did a wonderful job! After signing the wedding license, we headed out to the Essex Steam Train for more couple portraits. Maura and Charlie got engaged at the Essex Train Station so it was very fitting for them to incorporate trains in both their engagement session and wedding day.

The rest of the night was full of dancing, family-style dinner, and memories being made.
