A meticulously restored estate in Ridgefield, CT, the Lounsbury House is a wedding venue boasting historic authenticity. This mansion is one of Ridgefield’s most romantic and historic wedding ceremony & reception site. Available exclusively to one special event per day, their estate is a unique combination of history, serenity & beauty. The Ridgefield community is proud of its historic landmark, and the staff loves seeing it transformed into a space for couples to celebrate their commitment.

White wainscoting adorns the rooms throughout the mansion, while floral wallpaper and neutral-colored walls create a traditional look.
There are beautiful chandeliers throughout the mansion, and the furnishings and decor have been restored to their original grandeur, while also boasting an understated look with washes of neutral colors.
Outside are perfectly landscaped gardens as well as a gazebo, pergola, and fountain.

Delamar Greenwich Harbor
The Delamar Greenwich Harbor is a luxury hotel offering spacious guestrooms & suites, a relaxing spa, and venues for weddings. The grounds at this venue are absolutely beautiful. Perfect for large or small groups, they provide an outdoor event space as well as two dining rooms inside to choose from. Tamarack's 55,000 square foot grand clubhouse sits on the highest point of the property and with its stunning views of the golf course and Connecticut landscape, it's the perfect venue for weddings, parties, and special events.

Stamford, CT
Stamford Museum and Nature Center
The Stamford Museum and Nature Center has two gorgeous venues on a 118+ acre campus.
We recently photographed a micro-wedding at their award-winning Farmhouse which seats up to 150 guests and has beautiful views of the farm from their deck.
The ceremony took place outdoors at the Fedele Family Farmhouse which was especially perfect for a fall wedding with New England’s picturesque foliage as your backdrop.
The staff at SM&NC is super friendly and flexible to work with to plan a wedding of your dreams.
Their other venue is Bendel Mansion, which we had the pleasure of both hosting and photographing parties there.
This mansion was built as the country retreat of Henri Bendel in the style of a 19th-century European estate that once hosted guests of the Gilded Age. How cool is that?
There is an on-site art gallery, planetarium, and beautiful rooms with high ceilings adorned with twinkle lights for your wedding that can host up to 150 guests.
You can also plan for a fully outdoor wedding and reception, which is sort of like a third venue SM&NC offers.

The Pavillions at Penfield Beach
If you’re planning a beach wedding, the Pavillions at Penfield Beach are a wonderful venue for you.
They have two venues located right on the beach so you can have your ceremony on the sand just steps away from cocktail hour and your reception.
The Penfield Pavillion can host up to 180 guests.
It has beautiful, high cathedral ceilings and a covered deck facing the Long Island Sound.
The Jacky Durrell Pavillion is the smaller of the two venues which seat up to 125 guests and has similar panoramic views of the sound.
We’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at both venues at Penfield Beach and highly recommend them for the gorgeous views and flexibility if you’re planning a beach wedding.

Longshore Pavillion at Norwalk Cove
The Longshore Pavillion is an ONTHEMARC event space that offers a beautiful outdoor venue for your wedding and a huge tent with wood floors.
Tented weddings are very popular and in-demand given the current environment and now with CT’s Covid-19 guidelines for weddings and social events, you can have up to 200 guests outdoors starting March 19th, 2021.
The 2.4-acre property at Longshore Pavillion includes a private beachfront with endless views of the Long Island Sound, a lush great lawn, sailcloth tent, and restrooms.

Waveny House
Waveny House is located at Waveny Park in New Canaan, CT and it’s by far one of our favorite places to shoot engagement and family sessions.
In the center of the park is Waveny House, a large Tudor mansion built in 1912 for the Lewis Lapham family and was purchased by the Town of New Canaan in 1967.
The house features a grand hall perfect for your reception and a beautiful patio for a cocktail hour overlooking the lush grounds.
We also love the walled garden if you’re planning a small outdoor ceremony.
Waveny truly offers a special venue for you to host your wedding year-round — and your photographs will be gorgeous!

The Lace Factory
